Upon the 31st of July, trialling a new venue, Fruitworks Cafe, complete with accessible toilet, MixMatched hosted yet another eclectic night!
Small but intimate, several regulars graced our stage, and we were joined by ND+ comedian Ribs, who gave us a snippet of her new stand-up act (which involves mistaking a dead bat for a potato!) – We also had our first ever Tribute Band and Lunar Bloomer graced us with poems upon mental health and growth! – Georgia Green shared with us the second installation of her artwork focusing upon identity and femininity through art that explores self without the male gaze. As always (or at least when we remember! – We had our audience poem to finish.
