MixMatched Founder, Emma Robdale, started MixMatched alongside her PhD research at the University of Kent. She’d wanted to set up a Neurodivergent+ creative friendly space where others could safely build up their skills and confidence in a safe friendly environment.
On her five year PHD journey she suffered a number of obsticales and pitfalls… but has finally been ‘crowned’ a doctor of Drama. Her Theisis covers topics surrounding Neurodivergent+ creative identity and how it might present itself artistically within performance and writing…. and was entitled: ‘In our own words: Exploring neurodivergent+ culture, creative expression and aesthetics through the disciplines of performance and creative writing’
