MixMatched has run a number of events in and around Kent; as well as Performance Nights and Workshops we have also worked in collaboration with a number other Creative organisations and Neurodivergent individuals to be part of and support a range of innovative projects and festivals. Here we have tried to keep track of them all! – Click on any event for a more in-depth description. 

Mixmatched performance nights

We’ve run a variety of monthly performance events, encouraging performers from a wide range of disciplines to display their work; Comedy, Poetry, Spoken Word, Speeches, Performance Art, Experimental, Music, singing, bands, Acapella… and anything else that comes our way! – Many of our nights have optional themes, and you can find out more about each one below! 😀

Workshops and Events

We run a number of workshops and events that aim to help writers and performers hone their skills; so far we have focused on Creative Writing, Literature and Performance Workshops, many of which encourage participants to interact and take inspiration from specific locations and environments. All of our workshops aim to be relaxed/friendly spaces where participants can enjoy a sense of community alongside learning new skills.

As Part of Faversham fringe Autistic Assemble, an Neurodivergent+ Improv group, forming as part of MixMatched and Jammies Nights, did thier first gig with Adam Dor and Paggy!Autistic Assemble have perfomed at almost every MixMatched event for a year. Many Neurodivergent+ crowd members jump in to! Paggy and Adam Dorr took the troupe to its first 'outside' event, Faversham Frindge!The Alexander Centre, Faversham.

Invisible Women Gallery
(10th-14th March, 2023)
Invisible Women, a group of autistic artists ran by Marion Armstrong, teamed up with Neurodivergent Friends Thannet to produce a gallery of Neurodivergent artistic's work for the Power of Women Festival. Love After All Project and Gallery Exhibit (18th of July)
Kate Lynn-Devere, member of MixMatched Community, co-developed a project upon supporting ND voices, promoting suicide prevention.
