MEET US...
The MixMatched Directors

We aim to make all our events friendly and Neurodivergent+ accessible –If you’ve been to one, and have feedback/advise, please let us know – we are constantly learning and updating!

Alice Riley

Passionate about storytelling, Alice channels her creativity into crafting neurodiverse romantic fiction, weaving stories that authentically represent diverse love stories and challenge societal norms. She has been instrumental in organising and running events for MixMatched. As an autistic individual with a suspected ADHD, Alice brings a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the neurodivergent experience to her work.

Emma Robdale

Neurodivergent Performer, Writer and Researcher. Currently undergoing her PHD in Neurodivergent Culture Studies at the University of Kent, while working on her novel ‘The Casual Case of the Cat in the Headlights’.

Holly McCulloch

Holly is a qualified Creative Arts Therapist with a wide range of experience supporting children and adults with their mental health. She currently works as a therapist and supervisor for trainee counsellors in a school as well as running her own private practice. Holly loves all elements of performance and is interested in putting on events that create a feeling of community. One of Holly’s favourite parts of MixMatched is the ‘audience poem’ as it gives an opportunity for both performers and audience to come together to create something that’s full of joy.

MEET OUR MIXMATCED TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS!

MixMatched is a non-for-profit organisation, and we rely upon a lot of help from our community! Adam Dorr and Simon Kempthorne have been with us since the start of building up our nights and workshops.

simon kempthorne

Simon Kempthorne is our friendly ‘odd jobs man’ and enthusastic photographer!- He takes most of the photos at our MixMatched nights (and you can ask him you’d like something specific/to be filmed, or if you’d like him not to take photos, or delete anything). Simon sometimes performs his own comedy, and considers himself ‘punny’, and is part of ‘Autistic Assemble’, the Neurodivergent+ improv comedy group that formed out of MixMatched and Jammies sessions. 🙂

adam dorr

Adam Dorr began performing with Mixmatched right at the beginning and now hosts a number of his own nights including ‘Stand-up at the Stour’ in Canterbury and ‘Funny Folk’ in Folkstone, alongside performing his own comedy, including his one man show, ‘In-Adam-Quate’. A seasoned performer and presenter, Adam champions Neurodivergent+ inclusivity and has attended, presented and helped out at many our MixMatched nights and workshops. He hosts our ‘Autistic Assemble’ Improv group and currently runs our ‘punny times’ competition.
