The second night approaches! (Sunday 24th of April!) and we have an impressive line-up! With a number of performers traveling in from London and Brighton!  Compare Emma Robdale kicked off the night,  warming up the stage with her own short poem, ‘She-Wolf’ upon the injustices of female shaving!

  1. Scot Fishenden – Standup! – Hi I’m Scott! I suffer from anxiety and am new to stand up comedy! My act was a mix of stand up with some poetry about suffering with anxiety as well as any other random thoughts I may have!!
  2. Daryl Sookun – Poetry-  Having travelled all the way down from London to read his original poetry, he proudly and sensitively ‘Reclaimed the R Word’
  3. Lexi Wolfe – Poetry – Reading from her own published collection Lexi read us beautiful and emotive tales.
  4. Ben Schurnachen – Poetry- Reading his original and very relatable poetry on the topic of isolation
  5. Hannah Etheridge – Poetry
  6. Chloe Parks – Stand-up!
  7. Jake Emlyn – A moving and brave rap and ace pela performance
  8. Benjamin Reeves – Original Poetry.
  9. Tom Carney – poetry- This time choosing to read a number of poems that resonated with him on the topic of spirituality.
  10. Pippa Vec – Poetry – Performing poetry upon the confusion of heartbreak, and frustrations of love.
  11. Andrew Slade – poetry- Reading another one of Lexi’s Poems, he had the audience laughing along with the comedy poem about her pet greyhound.
  12. Manjit Gora  – poetry- After going back over past memoirs Manjit created an original poem by combining extracts on similar topics.
  13. Alice Riley – Giving yet another great speech on the trials and tribulations of just ‘existing’ as an autistic women, Alice gave another bittersweet tribute.
  14. Jacqueline Wanstall – Poetry – reading her own original poetry, which was both comical and saucy!
  15. Tom – poem/story- A last minute entry, gave an original piece on the topic of Dungeons and Dragons.
